    Go straight 200m along the hill toward Exit 1 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station on Line 2 (opposite to Milliore)

    It is the biggest3-dimensional, atypical construction. This urban development landmark is designed by Zaha Hadid with the concept of ‘Metonymic Landscape’ reflecting the dynamism of Dongdaemun area. .Also known as Dongdaemun History and Culture Park, this is a culture complex with the motto of providing the core to design and creative activities. Since its opening in 2014, it has provided venue for numerous conventions, exhibitions, concerts and fashion shows. It is also very close to other tourist spots such as Cheonggyecheon, Pyeonghwa Market and Doota duty-free. Its entertainment and street food experiences have made this place not only locals’, but also tourists’ favorite.

    The forest is a result of a city-scale project, which benchmarked New York’s Central Park to turn what had used to be a gymnastic complex into a big urban forest. It was designed with five themes: culture and art; experience and study; eco forest; marsh eco park; Hangang Park. Not only it provides relax and leisure to the citizens, this park has become the very first model where the park is developed and run by citizen participation.

    This area of Han River had been long popular for the citizens as a recreatory area even before the Hangang Park was made. Various water sports such as water ski, motor boat and wind surfing are one of the activities you can enjoy in this area. The place offers for four seasons all different activities and fun. There is a 243 meter-length cultural complex designed in a shape of an inchworm, and inside you can enjoy media art exhibitions, gift shops and cafes.

    This tower boasts its 123-floor, 555-meter height being the highest in the country and the fifth in the world. It offers a variety of shopping and leisure from department store, hotel, multiplex cinema and the biggest Aquarium in Korea. Thanks to its height, its visitors can see the country’s capital in a view at the observatory. You can also visit Lotte World Adventure, the recreational park, and Seokchon Lake by getting off at this stop.

    Located between the Olympic Park’s K-Art Hall and Olympic Hall, Rose Garden is where you can find more than 19,990 trees, 273 varieties of roses. This place had been designed in theme of ‘where the ancient Olympic meets its modern descendant’ and ‘the garden of 12 Gods of Olympus.’ There are 12 gardens, each of which is named after a God or Goddess.

    Olympic Park was designed and developed for 1986 Seoul Asian Games and 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, now is being used as a complex providing the citizens venue for daily leisure and activities. World Peace Gate is the main entrance to the park designed by Kim Chungup in celebration of 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. It features the portraits of four legendary animals and traditional Korean culture it undertones in hope for the world peace.
